Just like what others have said, this number seems like a scam. A guy with a really thick Asian accent finally spoke after I kept saying hello a few times. I couldn't really get the company name so I asked him to say it again, but it still wasn't a name I recognised because of the accent. He said my phone ending in ### could join some sort of free 15-day trial. I said no thanks and hung up, then looked it up here.

Somebody called saying they was from O2 and asked me for a 6 digit code that came in a text from O2-UK, but when I phoned O2 myself it turned out to be a scam. Don’t give them that code!

He claimed to be calling from o2 on Bath Road, London, saying they had a 30% discount if I kept the same phone and contract. He said he’d text me to prove he was legit. I told him no thanks, just send me the info through the post. I added that if he was really from o2, and I doubt he was, he’d have my address already. Then he just hung up.
