Got a call at 5:05 this evening but it only rang briefly, not long enough for my answerphone to pick up. I don’t pick up unless I know who’s calling, so no way of knowing who it was. I never trust numbers that start with more than one zero since that usually means it’s an international call. Blocked it now.

Got a call out of the blue from someone claiming I hadn’t sent back a PPI form to claim money from the banks. Didn’t ask for this at all.

I recently got a call where the number showed up as International. I answered and there was someone with an English accent asking to talk to me. I just said no, you can't speak to me. Then they said “oh” and quickly ended the call.

This number has called me loads of times. Each time, they just keep silent for about 10 seconds, then hang up. A few moments later, they ring back and do the exact same thing - no word at all. Very strange behaviour.

I chose not to pick up 'cos I had no clue who was calling. Tried to block the number using my BT blacklist, but it wouldn't let me as it didn't recognise the number as valid.

Got a call from someone chatting about a form they supposedly sent me, but it was clearly just a scam trying to get my details. Blocked them straight away.

My mum got a call from this number, saying she hadn’t sent back some form from her bank about money she supposedly was due. She never got any form, and she’s pretty sure the bank doesn’t owe her anything, so she just ended the call. I reckon some people might get tricked by this, so watch out.
