Got a call from someone who seemed to be outdoors, an Indian lady making some strange noise, like she was puffing on a cigarette or something. She said her name was Jenny, but spoke it really slowly, like she was trying hard to pronounce it right. She never mentioned any company or who she was working for. Then she started asking about my household appliances, and just as I was about to answer, she abruptly ended the call. Proper odd!

It's obvious this is a dodgy call, likely from overseas, possibly India. The caller pretended to be with Carphone Warehouse, trying to sell me some sort of 'Black Friday' upgrade for a mobile contract. Yet, astonishingly, they hadn’t a clue about my identity or the existing phone and contract I currently have in place!
