I got a call from Pozitive Energy claiming they can give cheaper energy deals. Whether they actually deliver on those offers is another story. A quick look at Trustpilot shows quite a few nightmare experiences. For me, I’d steer clear. Lots of folks say the rates look good at first, but later get hit with price hikes because of tricky terms hidden in the fine print. Basically, you need to be really careful, read all the details thoroughly, and never rush into signing anything. Buyer beware for sure.

Got a call five times within an hour, but no messages left on my voicemail.

So, this was actually a positive experience for me. The gas company was calling to persuade me into joining their expensive plans. Surprisingly, they even mentioned my account number and the email I’d previously sent, which made it feel a bit more legit.

Been getting calls from some so-called positive energy reps claiming to be from the UK, but I think they’re actually based in India or Pakistan. They tell you your contract rates won’t rise at all, even though they hiked prices just a few weeks back. As of 18th November, they’ve been ringing up old CNG customers trying to reel them back in. Don’t trust what they’re saying, it’s all rubbish!

Got a call from someone who said my smart meter isn't working properly. They somehow knew my energy provider and my address, and said they were from my supplier. They tried to set up an appointment, saying their engineer would come to “repair” the meter. Feels like it might be some competitor trying to swap my meter over.
