I was in the middle of setting up BT Call Protect when the phone rang. The line was really scratchy and the caller seemed to be pitching some sort of call protection service! Feels more like a call centre keeping tabs on BT installs than an actual BT call. The background noise was quite loud and the person’s voice was hard to understand, so definitely not a proper BT agent. It was more irritating than a threat. Still, it struck me as odd that they tried to call right while I was working on it. Bit suspicious if you ask me.
