They claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse, but when I asked them to email me their identity after they asked for my info, they hesitated. I told them I wasn’t okay with sharing personal details over the phone. I’ve checked with Carphone Warehouse directly and they don’t use subcontractors. So yeah, don’t share anything with these lot.

Some bloke called saying he was John from Carphone Warehouse. He mentioned my mobile phone but I wasn’t sure what he wanted. I asked how I could assist, but his accent was pretty thick so I didn’t catch it. When I asked again what he needed, he just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be "Steve" at CARPHONE WAREHOUSE, with loads of chatter in the back like a busy call centre. He was really pushy, trying to grab my details to sell me a new phone, but I've never dealt with them before. The strong foreign accent and the forceful way he spoke definitely raised alarm bells. They've called a couple more times since, but I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from some "telephone preference management, call blocking team" tryin to convince me to pay for an upgrade to stop junk calls and scams. Funny thing is, the only dodgy calls I’m gettin’ lately are from them! They claim to be ringing from places like Mansfield, Belfast, Ellon and more. These fraudsters seriously need to be stopped!

over the last couple of days ive been getting loads of calls from 01244422038. when i rang them back just now, an automated voice said the line wasnt in service. before that, the calls came from 01460944009. ive blocked both these numbers on my phone to try and stop the calls.

Like others said, I got the same call with really strong Indian accent. When the person started asking for my card info, I just hung up. It was a bit scary coz he mentioned stuff that made me think he might know where I live. He phoned me again two times but each time it just went to voicemail and he didn’t leave anything.
