Got a missed call from this number and I’ve had calls from them earlier too. When I picked up, a woman said she was calling from Carphone Warehouse, trying to get me to give out personal info. I told her to stick to GDPR rules but then got another missed call from the same number. Some bloke called himself Mac Stevens, but he kept stumbling over how to say and spell his own name. He said he worked for Carphone Warehouse and that my contract was up for renewal. Thing is, I haven’t had anything to do with them for like 15 years. When I told him to take me off their list, he said a manager needed to sign it off, then just cut me off when I pushed back. I called back and got a voicemail for Caspian Care Technologies with an email for opting out of marketing. So clearly it’s not Carphone Warehouse - how on earth did they get my info?
