Someone said they were from 3 and asked about my monthly bill, I told them if they really worked for 3 they'd already know it. I also said I wasn't keen on continuing the call since I couldn't make out what he was saying, then he just ended the call.

Sounds like the same old TalkTalk scammer, just pretending to be from BT now. Had that dodgy Chinese accent guy trying to get remote access to my PC again. I kept them chatting for a bit before my call blocker finally dropped the call!

Got two calls from this number today, one around half past twelve and the other just after one. They were saying something about our clocking system needing an update and that my debit card had expired and I’d need to provide a new one. Since I’d only just got a new card recently, I found it strange how they knew that. Didn’t share any info with them but rang my bank straight away to let them know and double-check. The bank told me that these scammers try this kind of story hoping people will hand over their card details.

they rang me again around 18:19, no one picked up and then they hung up after about 14 seconds. When i tried calling back, some american voice said the number couldnt be reached. sounds like they’re using a bt landline or some cluster of lines in chester. bt should really do something about this cause it’s pushing me to take my business elsewhere.
