Got a call early morning, about 8.30, from a bloke with an Indian accent who introduced himself as Alan - yeah, sure! He claimed he was phoning from something called ‘Today’s Habit’. He did have my name, which is a bit suspicious. You can tell it’s a dodgy scam right away when they start with the usual, “how’s your day going?” I just ended the call straight away and added the number to my block list.

Received a call from someone claiming to represent Carphone Warehouse, using a number from Barrow. They started off by inquiring whether I’d be interested in a rather pricey £35/month offer for a “snow one.” When I expressed confusion over the hefty price tag for a snow one, he clarified that he meant an iPhone instead. I questioned the reasoning behind being enthusiastic about that, and that's when they just abruptly ended the call. Quite bizarre!
