Got a call from this number yesterday. They left a voicemail but it seemed like part of it got cut off, like they didn’t say who they were or why they were ringing. The message just said if we wanted to be taken off their list, we should ring back and give our name and address. It sounded a bit dodgy, so I figured it was best to just block the number. Bet they’ll just try from another phone though. Thought all this cold calling rubbish was banned these days.

Got a call from someone asking for my bank statement number to supposedly check a medical alert for elderly folks. It sounded dodgy straight away. I refused to give any info and eventually they just hung up once they realised I wasn’t gonna play along. Total scam for sure.

But when I asked her which company I was supposedly with and where she worked, she just ended the call straight away. FOLKS, THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM. Got a call from a man with an Indian accent, and he asked my hubby if he was Mrs ………... Honestly, how daft are these people? It’s so obviously a scam. We get loads of these calls. Think I’ll have my husband leave the radio on next time, keep him entertained at least!

Got a call saying I was owed £40 back from a supermarket for being a shopper. I said cheers, send me a cheque by post. They kept pressing me for my bank's name (I gave them a fake one) and the expiry date, which I also made up. They wanted the long number on my debit card too, which I never gave. The caller was really pushy, and I told them I suspected it was a scam, but they kept insisting it wasn’t. In the end, I just ended the call.

a call popped up on my phone showing a Barrow-in-Furness area code, but it was actually someone from India on the other end. they claimed to be from 'carphone warehouse', which ive never dealt with before. ive gotten quite a few annoying calls from this firm and im sure they shouldn’t have my details. maybe they purchased them or just dialled randomly. I told them to stop calling and take me off their list, but lo and behold, the very next day they rang back, this time with a number that was just a bit different!
