Someone rang me claiming to be from my phone provider, acting as though they were working for a trio of companies. They grilled me about my current phone plan, suggesting they could offer me a better deal. It was glaringly obvious that it was a con, as they ought to have known my rates already. Got a call from someone saying they were with Carphone Warehouse, but it was obvious spam since I'm not even a customer.
