I ignored the call coz the number was unfamiliar and no voicemail was left, so probs not urgent. Decided to check it here and saw loads of people mentioning covid and insurance scams. Blocked the number straight away.

I received a call from this number, and the chap on the other end introduced himself as Jason from the NHS, supposedly checking in about my Covid-19 vaccination status. I couldn't shake off the feeling that it was a scam call. The way he spoke felt quite off, almost as if he was fishing for my personal medical details. It definitely raised a few alarm bells!

I got a call from someone called 'Micheal Williams' offering unsecured loans and help with debts. When I asked if they handle gambling debts, they suddenly got really irritated with me. Quite a strange experience!

Got a call from a guy claiming to be ‘Jason’ - sounded Indian - who somehow already knew my full name and where I used to live. Said he was ringing from some covid holiday centre. Told me I’d had two vaccines, which is totally wrong, then asked if I got my government vaccine certificate. After that, he started asking all sorts about my life insurance - costs, names on the policy, all that. Absolute scammer. Didn’t even bother answering half the questions. Just hung up, blocked the number, and reported it straight away. Don’t fall for it!

I got a call from a man with an Asian accent saying he was from some debt consolidation company. He claimed my name popped up and since I was apparently in trouble, they wanted to help. He asked me how much debt I reckoned I had, so I told him actually I don’t owe anything. He was like, “What do you mean?” I repeated that I don’t have any debts. Then he started shouting down the phone asking why I was wasting his time. I told him no, he was the one wasting my time. We went back and forth a bit until I reminded him he was the one calling me. That's when he just hung up abruptly.

Just got a call claiming to be from NHS about a Covid-19 certificate, but it was definitely a phishing attempt trying to get my address and life insurance details. Stay alert, folks!

I picked up but there was total silence on the other end, then they just hung up. Pretty sure it was some sort of scam. The number was blocked so I tried calling back and got an automated voice saying I’d dialled the wrong number.

Typical thing these days, got a call from some guy with a pakistani accent claiming to be from a covid vaccine centre. Didn’t even bother chatting, just hung up and blocked him. I probably get a couple of these scam calls daily, so I’m pretty used to them by now, but I worry about older folks who might actually believe it and get frightened. These scammers are just awful leeches.

Got a call from someone saying they were the Covid 19 helpdesk, asking if I'd had my booster jabs. I said, "If you're from the Covid Helpdesk, you’d already know whether I’ve had them or not." The bloke, who spoke with an Indian accent, got rude after that, so I just ended the call. This happened near Oxford.

This morning I noticed a missed call from this number. After a quick Google search, I found out it belongs to some sort of marketing firm, probably pushing business stuff.
