I didn’t recognise the number, so I opted not to pick up the call. They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail, which suggests it wasn’t urgent! I did a bit of digging on this site and found that others have flagged it as a possible Covid-related scam or insurance con. I've now added it to my block list.

I received a call from this number, and the chap on the other end introduced himself as Jason from the NHS, supposedly checking in about my Covid-19 vaccination status. I couldn't shake off the feeling that it was a scam call. The way he spoke felt quite off, almost as if he was fishing for my personal medical details. It definitely raised a few alarm bells!

I received a call from someone named 'Michael Williams' regarding loans that aren't secured and issues related to debt. Interestingly, they mentioned that gambling debts aren't included in their offerings! They seemed to lose their temper with me rather swiftly after that.

Got a call from a guy claiming to be ‘Jason’ - sounded Indian - who somehow already knew my full name and where I used to live. Said he was ringing from some covid holiday centre. Told me I’d had two vaccines, which is totally wrong, then asked if I got my government vaccine certificate. After that, he started asking all sorts about my life insurance - costs, names on the policy, all that. Absolute scammer. Didn’t even bother answering half the questions. Just hung up, blocked the number, and reported it straight away. Don’t fall for it!

I got a call from a man with an Asian accent saying he was from some debt consolidation company. He claimed my name popped up and since I was apparently in trouble, they wanted to help. He asked me how much debt I reckoned I had, so I told him actually I don’t owe anything. He was like, “What do you mean?” I repeated that I don’t have any debts. Then he started shouting down the phone asking why I was wasting his time. I told him no, he was the one wasting my time. We went back and forth a bit until I reminded him he was the one calling me. That's when he just hung up abruptly.

Typical thing these days, got a call from some guy with a pakistani accent claiming to be from a covid vaccine centre. Didn’t even bother chatting, just hung up and blocked him. I probably get a couple of these scam calls daily, so I’m pretty used to them by now, but I worry about older folks who might actually believe it and get frightened. These scammers are just awful leeches.
