I received a call from an unfamiliar number earlier today, but I chose to let it ring.

I just received a call from this number, but no one picked up when I answered.

I received a call purporting to be from Public Health London inquiring about my vaccination status regarding COVID-19 and any boosters. When I questioned how they were unaware of my vaccination details, given their claimed affiliation, they abruptly disconnected the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I received a notification indicating that I had missed a call, and it mentioned something about a call alert from O2. However, I didn’t follow through with the instructions it provided.

Received a call from someone who insisted they were affiliated with a coronavirus taskforce. Out of nowhere, they began probing about my life insurance policy. I was baffled and asked for clarification. The chap mumbled something unintelligible before I decided to terminate the call. Clearly, it was just a ruse!

He claimed to be calling from the NHS, and when I questioned whether he was having a laugh, we went back and forth a few times. Ultimately, he admitted, 'Oh yes, I am,' before just abruptly ending the call.

Received a call from a number that’s only one digit away from a previous dodgy nuisance. They hung up without uttering a word, which is a definite red flag. A genuine caller would typically drop a voicemail, wouldn't they? It's safe to assume this is just another scam attempt.

I refuse to pick up calls from numbers I don't recognise. My thinking is, if it's someone legitimate, they'll leave a voicemail or try ringing again shortly after. Since they didn't do either, I’ve gone ahead and blocked them!

I've just blocked and removed a pesky telemarketer scam call!

I wasn't familiar with this number at all, and they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail. After checking out the reviews on this site, it seems to be a scam. I've gone ahead and blocked them.

The call centre provided vague information and the command of English was rather subpar.

I wasn’t able to answer the call in time, and they didn't bother to leave a voicemail. I thought I’d better look it up here, and good thing I did, as I’ve been rather hesitant to answer calls lately, what with all the scam artists about!

Just received a call from yet another number based in Redruth that cut off as soon as I picked up. I'm left scratching my head about whether it's some sort of scam or whatnot—seems they've not the guts to engage in a proper conversation. Absolute cowards, if you ask me!

I received a call that was supposedly about side effects from the COVID jab, but then they wanted to know if I had a certificate. Why would that be necessary? We can access our vaccination details right on the NHS app, can't we? Seems a bit dodgy to me, so I reckon it's best not to divulge any personal information.

This number has been flagged as a spammer. Interestingly, I received a call from them earlier this week with a number that finishes in 9. They've also contacted me from 01242 800258 and 01242 800252. Quite the nuisance, isn’t it?

Received a call from a number in Redruth, the person on the other end had a heavy foreign accent and struggled with English. They claimed to be phoning on behalf of a 'Covid 19 team'. What a load of rubbish! I promptly ended the call. It's alarming to think that such scams could be quite unsettling for those who might be more gullible or vulnerable.

An Asian chap seemed to be familiar with my name, but he struggled to say it correctly!

A chap called me out of the blue, blaring my first name and talking about the NHS. I could hardly make out what he was on about, so I asked him to repeat himself. He ended up bellowing my name even louder! I asked, "What?” and he scoffed before slamming the phone down. Definitely sounded dodgy, like some foreign fella up to no good. Not convinced this is anything above board!

I received a call from the same number, and they made some rather menacing remarks about me and my loved ones. I’ve reported it to the police and promptly blocked the number. Just thought you should know.

Received a call from a number I’ve now blocked. They inquired about my financial situation and debts, but I have neither! When I questioned how they obtained my number, they abruptly hung up.

I received a call inquiring after someone with a different name entirely. I requested to speak to a supervisor, and lo and behold, this 'supervisor' was on the line straight away. I demanded that they remove my number from their records, and he casually mentioned that he could certainly do that, provided I shared my name. I questioned the logic of giving my name just so he could potentially ring me back later. He replied in the affirmative. I then probed further, asking how a call intended for someone else could somehow concern me. His response? A rather rude suggestion for me to 'do one', before promptly ending the call! It was all tied to some Covid matter; he claimed to be with public health. Quite the experience, really!

I received a call from this number claiming to represent the NHS regarding Covid vaccinations. I firmly told them it was none of their concern, asked them to remove my details from their list, and then promptly ended the call.

I received a rather dubious call purportedly from an official Covid vaccination check-up service, but it quickly turned into a sales pitch for private health insurance. When I requested that my number be taken off their list, the chap became quite aggressive and began shouting. I kept my composure and invoked the principle of 'Treating Customers Fairly'—a standard any legitimate UK company should adhere to. This seemed to infuriate him further, as he resorted to quite colourful language, even calling me a 'complete tosser' before he abruptly disconnected the call. I doubt he’ll be in a rush to ring me again, though!

I received a call from a number that was identical to another I had just spoken to, save for one little digit. When I answered, this new number claimed they weren't linked to the previous call at all. I honestly told them to take a hike!

I've been bombarded with relentless marketing calls from this number, ringing through multiple times daily. When I attempt to return the call, I'm met with a pre-recorded message that states, ‘this is a marketing agency; unfortunately, we don't accept incoming calls. We'll contact you again shortly’. It’s absolutely infuriating!

The same firm rang me twice and it was clearly a call centre operation. During the first call, I probed them with some direct questions, but their responses were annoyingly ambiguous. By the second call, I’d had enough and simply told them to shove off.

I had a rather unpleasant call today from a chap who was incredibly impolite. He started rambling on about debts that I simply don’t owe. When I insisted that I had no outstanding balances and requested to know where he’d got my information from, his tone turned aggressive. He even threatened to have debt collectors at my house within the next couple of hours! What a dreadful experience!

I recently received a call from a woman with an accent claiming that I owe money on credit cards. It’s downright ridiculous as I don’t even possess any credit cards! I urge everyone to exercise caution with such calls.

I received a call from someone with a thick accent, claiming I owed money that I've never had. Absolute nonsense! It's astonishing how shameless these scammers can be. Definitely reporting them and blocking their number immediately!

I've had enough of these nuisance calls! It's quite obvious they're part of a fresh scam. The supposed debts they've mentioned simply don't exist on my end. It’s absolutely appalling that individuals engage in such deceitful tactics against others.

The caller couldn’t even get my name right! When I refused to disclose my details, he started hurling abuse and making threats, claiming he knew my address and would send someone to my home to harm me if I didn’t cough up the cash immediately. I ultimately said, “Fine, I can’t stand my real name anyway, what’s my address then?” That’s when he ominously warned that he’d be watching me in my sleep! What on earth is going on? ๐ณ๐ณ๐ณ

It’s obvious this is some sort of call centre operation. They were posing as representatives from the NHS, inquiring about Covid vaccinations. I cut him off as soon as I sensed something was off, and his response turned rather aggressive when I suggested it wasn’t a legitimate call. He retorted with a snarky, “Well, hang up then and don’t waste my time.” To which I shot back, “Just remove my number from your records and don’t waste my time, thanks.” He was quite rude, and promptly hung up on me.

I just had a rather suspicious call from them, inquiring if I’d had my vaccinations. It felt rather off, so I ended the conversation. It’s quite alarming how a supposed Covid helpline is dabbling in matters of debt and all sorts of financial nonsense. Absolutely dreadful! ๐คจ

Received a call purporting to be from some Covid vaccination assessment team. They wanted me to rate the vaccination centre out of ten, and then bizarrely inquired whether I had life insurance, asking for the name of my provider too! It felt rather dodgy, and when I mentioned that I did indeed have coverage, the caller quickly seemed to lose interest and ended the conversation. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

Good day, Miss (first name). This is Michelle from the NHS. May I ask where you are located?" She then reiterated, "I’m calling from the National Health Service." To which I retorted, "But they don’t make phone calls," admittedly not in the most courteous manner. What a bunch of fibbers!
