Got a call claiming to be from the NHS. When I pointed out that I actually work for the NHS and called them out on it, they started shouting and swearing at me. Told them to quit scamming folks and find a decent job, then their language got even more foul. Seriously, don’t pick up and block this number. Keep an eye on elderly or vulnerable family members too, help them block it so they don’t have to deal with these horrible scammers.

Got a call from someone saying they were a Debt Advisor, but they ended the call right after saying who they were. If you get calls like this, it’s best not to ring back because it might be a premium number and cost you money. I blocked that number, but then another similar one called me about an hour afterward. Honestly, it’s simpler just to ignore these kinds of calls altogether.

This is totally a scam, I work for the NHS and was involved in the Covid jab programme, so I can tell you for sure this is rubbish. The NHS would never be asking about any insurance stuff - what’s that got to do with the NHS anyway? Best thing to do is just ignore the call and block the number.

About ten minutes ago I got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent claiming to be from the NHS Covid vaccination centre. Thing is, I know that centre isn’t operating right now so right away it felt dodgy. They asked if I’d had my vaccines, and when I asked why they needed to know, they said it was about side effects (which is laughable - we already know all about those!). Then, when I pushed for more info, the call just got cut off. Pretty obvious scam call to me. No swearing or insults thankfully, just hang up and block the number. Looking up where the call came from shows it was routed through some service that can be used anywhere worldwide. NHS wouldn't be spending money making calls abroad, so it's definitely a con. Best to block them - they sound like bad news.

Got a call from a Cornwall area code, and it was an Indian woman who sounded like she was shouting over loads of noise in a call centre. She claimed to be from "the NHS" (which is odd since I don’t even live near Cornwall), chatting about something about vaccines and possible side effects. Got a call from a number that looked like it was from the Redruth area. Figured it might be my cousin so I picked up. The bloke on the other end was hard to hear, but I quickly realised it was nothing I wanted, so I told him, “No thanks, please put me on your do-not-call list.” Then, out of nowhere, he starts shouting horrible swear words at me! I was shocked, but luckily I’m not easily upset. My hubby was nearby and heard the awful language too - can’t believe someone could be so rude when I was just polite. Honestly, I’d recommend everyone blocks this dodgy scam caller. Watch out for this one!

Then they started pressing for the name of my life insurance company. I tried telling them it's just the name I'm being asked for, no other details, but I don’t actually have one. Asked why they needed that and something about a document heading my way. When I kept saying no, the caller said I wasn’t their friend anymore and that made them sad. At least they didn’t get nasty like I’ve heard others have. The odd bit was they wouldn’t end the call first, kept telling me to hang up, so I put them on speaker and just got on with my work, not saying a word. Eventually, they hung up. Then they rang back straight away asking why I didn’t hang up first. I did the same again - put them on speaker and ignored them until they gave up. Safe to say, they’re blocked now!
