Honestly BT, get your act together and begin stopping these calls for us! It's crystal clear these are fraudsters trying to steal our personal info and bank details. They keep changing just one digit and using new numbers but we’re always quick to report them. It’s only a matter of time before they pop up again with a similar number. Somebody rang saying they were from the local energy company and started going on about some deals after saying they knew I owned the place. I asked them for my own name and address to check if they really knew me, but they just kept chatting away without replying. I then nicely told them to remove me from their calls and ended the call.

Didn’t pick up as I know this number, plus a bunch like it, are dodgy calls about energy or insulation. They didn’t leave a voicemail or anything. Going to report it as a silent caller to OfCom and also flag it as annoying sales harrassment with the ICO.

Without a doubt, this seemed like some kind of scam. I’m almost certain the voice I heard wasn’t human but a robot, cos when I tried asking questions, it started messing up badly. When I rang the number back, it played another recorded message saying it was for ‘market research’, which I reckon is just a dodgy way to dodge legal trouble. They did give me a choice to stop the calls by pressing 1, so I did that. Hoping it stops now, but we’ll see.

The bloke was quite insistent and kept pushing for a survey, which put me off right away. I told 'em I wasn’t interested and that my insulation’s fine anyway. They went on about how if they spotted mildew, they’d give you a no-obligation quote that’d be valid for a year. Felt a bit dodgy to me, so I’ve just blocked the number. He reckons the government-backed loft insulation - something we're sure we never had fitted - might be dodgy and leading to condensation problems. Got a ring from 01202818936 around 10:19 on the 25th of May 2021. My wife picked up and then handed the phone over to me. It’s the third call we've had lately from somewhere near Bournemouth. The first couple of times, no one said a word, just silence. But this time, some guy started yapping about mould in the loft insulation around our postcode. My wife ended the call quite nicely, but if it was me, I’d have cut them off rather rudely! These scam calls from Bournemouth are really a nuisance - best to just hang up straight away.
