BT calls have become a right nuisance, and it’s clear from the start it’s a scam. They’re using what looks like a genuine BT landline just to try and get folks’ details for dodgy deals or worse. Surely there must be a better fix than just us having to warn one another all the time? Some bloke called me about ‘renewing the loft installation’, told him off straight away! We are on the TPS list but still get loads of calls from the 01202 area code for ages. I’ve blocked the number and reported it to Action Fraud just in case. Watch out, could be a dodgy cold caller trying to scam you or get your details.
