Got a call from someone claiming to be my electricity provider and asked if I was the homeowner. When I asked them who they were and which company they were with, they just went on, saying "Great, seems like we've got your info right." I told them they weren’t answering me, but they just kept going on about some fibreglass insulation stuff. I then asked if it was a pre-recorded message, but before I got a reply, the line just went dead.

I got a call from 012027994770, claiming to be an energy advisor nearby. The thing is, that number’s from Bournemouth/Poole and I live like 30 miles away. Figured it was dodgy, so I just hung up. Definitely a scam, watch out!

This morning I got a call from 01202794770, and the person said they were from my local energy company. Since my number isn’t on any lists and it felt dodgy, I told them straight away they’d got the wrong number and ended the call. Pretty obvious it was a scam from the start.
