It’s been roughly two months since I last got a random call from a 01202 number, even though I’m on the Telephone Preference Service - which clearly they couldn’t care less about! Luckily, my BT voicemailscreening caught it and the caller just gave up without leaving any message. Reading the reviews here, it looks like it’s the same lot pestering people. Since August, I reckon I’ve had close to 50 calls from different 01202 numbers. Honestly, someone really needs to do something about this madness!

Got a call from someone claiming to be an energy advisor nearby. I told him I’d already received a call yesterday from a similar number (01202 143592), and he just cut the call off. Definitely a scammer in my opinion.

Like some folks here, this bloke said he was from an energy firm, going on about some rating for my place - rubbish like that. Just a heads up, cold calls ain’t legal. I told him I ran an eastern food delivery but he kept going on. After a few repeats from me, he finally said sorry for the bother and hung up.
