Watch out for this one folks, it could seriously mess with your finances. The person on the phone claimed to be from "MG Energy", saying they'd install a new insulation for free, replacing the old stuff supposedly causing damp and rot, all covered by a Government grant. But really, "free" just meant the first inspection. After that, you'd be stuck paying for all the materials and the work yourself. Don't fall for it!

Just a heads up, this is 100% an energy scam. They keep ringing loads of times a day and every time the phone number is kinda the same but the last 3 digits are different. So when you block one, another super similar number pops up shortly after with just those last digits switched, trying to trick you. This crap keeps happening for ages. Watch out!

I've found out that the bloke behind calls from Chris, Tom, Craig, Simon, or Patrick is actually called Stuart Wright, born 19/01/1965. His address, linked to this number and other similar scam ones, is 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF. So, at least we know where this con artist is based! No surprise he's living in a huge posh place worth a fortune, given how much he's scamming people. Apparently, he’s a bit of a tech nerd and is behind all those loft insulation scam calls that keep buzzing my phone.

This number has been ringing me loads, but the last three digits always seem different each time. Whenever I don't pick up and the answerphone kicks in, they just hang up or stay silent for a bit without leaving anything. They've called me about 10 times in just three days, and the calls come at all sorts of times. I've blocked the number now.

this guy alex from a solar energy firm rings me up every single day, asking if I’m the homeowner. one time i just said yes and he hung up, but when i tried to tell him to stop, he just ignored me like i wasn’t even there. it honestly felt like i was talking to a robot because he never actually replied to what i said. the annoying part is, i keep getting calls daily from that number and the same alex guy. no idea where to complain about this or block him properly.

So I found out that the names Chris, Tom, Craig, and Simon all lead back to Stuart David Wright. Makes sense he’s got a big house, must be from all the scams he’s pulling!

So I got a call from someone saying they were an energy firm, saying I needed new loft insulation and that since I’m older, I’d get it for free. Sounded a bit off to me. The connection kept cutting out as if they had rubbish equipment on their end. They also mentioned they were based in London, but honestly, it felt like a bit of a sketchy call.
