I picked up the phone and a bloke with an English accent said he was from some energy firm working around my area today - though it sounded a bit like a recording. So, I asked him what part of the postcode he meant, and suddenly it went dead silent, followed by a double busy tone. I just put the phone down after that. Pretty obvious scam, if you ask me. I reckon they’re trying to trick you into changing energy providers so they can grab your bank or card info.

So apparently this number is linked to a guy called Stuart David Wright, but he also goes by names like Chris, Tom, Craig, and Simon. The address tied to the number is 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF, registered under Stuart Wright. At least now we can tell where this bloke lives. Makes sense why he’s got such a posh place - he’s always trying to con people!
