I've had this bloke 'Chris' ring me a few times, always saying he's some local energy advisor. When I asked where exactly he was located, he just ignored me. So I pointed out his number comes up as Bournemouth, which is like 130 miles away, hardly local at all. After that, he just ended the call. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me, so watch out and don’t fall for it!

I got a call from someone saying he was Tom. He claimed our loft insulation might cause damp issues but then said it’s no problem and offered a free survey or something like that. Thing is, we don’t have any insulation at all, so they must have just found the number somehow. This is the 6th time we’ve had calls like this since late October. The numbers change a bit, but they all start with 01202. I saw some local councils, like Norfolk, Herefordshire, and Isle of Wight, have warnings about these calls on their websites.

Apparently, the bloke calling as Chris, Tom, Craig or Simon is actually Stuart David Wright. The number is linked to 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF, and the owner there is listed as Stuart Wright. Well, at least now we can work out where this con artist is based! No surprize he’s got a pretty big gaff; must be from all the scamming he’s been up to!

I try blocking them but the last three digits always change, so the calls just keep coming. There's not much I can do about it. They told me not to ring back.
