This week it’s the same scam but different products - they’re trying to push energy deals, insulation, windows, doors, boilers, solar panels, heat pumps and everythin else under the sun. Then they ask for your bank info, probably to pass on to some fraudsters in Calcutta or similar. Today’s caller was some bloke called Patrick. Honestly, find a honest job instead of mucking about like this, it’s just pathetic.

Got a call about loft insulation the other day, bloke just kept going on with his script and wouldn’t take no for an answer, even after I said I wasn’t interested. I’m on the TPS list, yet these calls keep popping up regularly. Honestly, don’t share any details with them, seems dodgy to me - probably just a marketing tactic or worse, a scam.

I got a call from Digital Marketing Solutions Co. claiming it was all about ‘Market Research’ but they suddenly offered a ‘Free Safety and House Inspection’ to check out our loft insulation. (Do they expect us to have ladders lying around…?) They said they were the ‘Local Energy Advisor’ and gave me some ‘Free Survey Code’ that looked like 50+9746. They wanted my full name, address, mobile, age, and job details. I ended up giving my name and address by mistake, but luckily kept my phone number to myself.
