They claimed to be from car phone warehouse, though I’m pretty sure that wasn’t true. I kindly told the bloke it wasn’t a good moment for a chat, but he just cut me off straight away without a word. I guess these callers must deal with some pretty rude responses often, but if someone’s being civil, the least they could do is say thanks. They really ought to train their people not to just drop the call like that - it’s so impolite and just makes telemarketers look even worse!

I received a call from someone claiming to be with Carphone Warehouse, chatting about some deals on mobile phones. He inquired about which device I owned. When I mentioned it was a business line, he responded, "Oh, I'm aware your company has provided us with this number." What a load of nonsense! It's my personal phone, not a business one. I received a call supposedly from O2, but I can assure you, it’s nothing short of a scam. They’ll send you a one-time 6-digit code, and if you accidentally share it, they’ll follow up with a request for your security question’s answer. Once they have that information, they’ll gain complete access to your O2 account and might begin placing orders for mobile devices under your name. Please, for the love of all things sacred, do not share that 6-digit code or your security question's answer! Stay vigilant, folks!
