Scam alert: someone rang me claiming to be from 02, which is funny because I don’t actually have a contract with them. I played along for a bit to see how far they’d go and the bloke said he’d managed to get into my account, which was strange since I don’t have one. Then he sent me two verification texts supposedly from 02, but both had a clear warning saying if anyone tries to get you to send those codes it’s a scam. I already suspected something was up so I didn’t share the codes. I then told him straight up that I don’t have an 02 line at all and he ended the call right away.
