Initially, they addressed me as ‘madam’, but I’m a chap, mind you! I pointed out they ought to recognise that from my voice, yet I was met with some rather foul language and the same erroneous title. I pressed for their identity, and they claimed to be from O2 - to which I retorted that if they were, they’d surely know I’m male! Quite impolite, I must say. If this number rings you, don’t hesitate to block it!

Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent claiming to be from O2. She told me I’d been a customer for 19 years and so qualified for a 40% discount on my bill. Sounded pretty believable. She offered to send me a text with a discount code, but that’s when I stopped her and said I didn’t think she was legit and wasn’t interested. Didn’t get any pushback, she just said “Alright then” and hung up.

Got a call from someone saying they were with 02, but honestly, I couldn’t make out what they were on about - something about a 40% off deal or whatever. I told them no cheers and ended the call. They must’ve called me again a couple of times, but I just didn’t pick up. Eventually checked my caller ID and it flagged the number as possible fraud, so I blocked it straight away.
