Got called twice recently. First call was from a bloke with an Indian accent asking me to verify if I'd been vaccinated. I told him that info should be with the NHS already. The next day, I get another call, this time a British lady, again wanting to check the vaccine status. I questioned her and then she suddenly switched to asking about life insurance. When I said that's private, she just cut the call straight away. Both claimed to be from the NHS helpline, which honestly sounds quite suspicious.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the Covid 19 Health Dept, asking if they could ask me a few questions. I told them straight away I knew it was a scam and they were wasting their time. They insisted I was lying, so I replied, “So you’re calling me a liar on top of trying to scam me?” The bloke just hung up after that. Definitely not the NHS.

This is the third occasion this number has rang us. My husband is quite vulnerable, and I’m worried he might get tricked when I’m not around. The bloke on the phone claimed he was sorting out my Covid records. When I told him that my medical records are accessible to the right healthcare workers and are already current, he just ended the call. It’s a bit unsettling how much he seemed to know about us.

Got a call from someone named "Gary" claiming to be from the Covid 19 support line, asking if I’d got life insurance. When I told him to take my number off their records due to GDPR, he just said he wasn’t allowed to do that. I mentioned I’m trained in GDPR myself, but he just told me to “listen to me” over and over. In the end, I just ended the call and blocked the number.

Scam alert! Got two calls yesterday from them. The first time I asked if they were really NHS Covid line, they just hung up on me. I received a call from someone purporting to be representing the NHS, wanting to discuss my COVID-19 vaccination details and possibly access my pass. They even had my full name and address, which was a bit unsettling. However, the caller had a notably strong foreign accent, which completely put me off the conversation.

Somebody rang me saying they were from the NHS COVID-19 team, asking about my vaccine and if I’d had any side effects. They mentioned sending a Health Certificate and wanted me to confirm my address. I told them the address they had was wrong and that the NHS should have the right info, which seemed to annoy them. Then they just ended the call.

A man with an Indian accent called my partner’s mobile from a landline 0115 7789626, asking if she was fully vaccinated and whether she had life insurance. When she asked which company he was from, he claimed to be with the Ministry of Health, which sounded off, and then he abruptly ended the call. My partner got suspicious as she’d had a nearly identical call the day before, this time from another Nottingham landline, 0115 7789629, with similar questions. As soon as she started probing, they cut the call again!
