Got calls supposedly from the 'NHS' or 'Public Health' about my covid jabs and any side effects. The moment I tell them my doctor never mentioned I'd be contacted about this, they just cut me off before asking for any personal stuff. It seems they're just collecting numbers to hand over to those pesky cold-callers, who will pester you endlessly with their scare tactics trying to sell you insurance. Honestly, just hang up right away; otherwise, you’ll be inundated with all sorts of unsolicited calls. Or, if you're feeling cheeky, tell them to shove off before slamming the receiver down!

BEWARE OF SCAMS! If you get any dodgy calls or texts, make sure you report them straight to the police fraud site. Just search for ‘action fraud’ or go on ‘police.uk’. There’s a section for ‘reporting phishing’, read all the info there before submitting your report. Make sure to add any links or URLs you got. You don’t have to sign up or give personal info unless it’s about a fraud where you lost cash. The only way the police can track and fight this stuff is if we all report every call or message like this. Don’t ignore it!

I keep getting calls from what’s saying it’s Public Health England, asking for my covid medical details to prove my identity. I gave them fake info just to get through their checks quickly. They also asked for my health insurance details, which I refused to give. After that, they told me they won’t stop ringing and that I’ll be getting calls twice a day now. Blocking the number does nothing since they just phone from loads of different ones. I get calls several times a week. Even when I pretend to be another person, I still manage to get past their verification easily.

I got a call from someone saying they were the covid19 support team and started asking if I’d been vaccinated. When I asked why they needed to know, things took a weird turn - they started threatening to shoot me in the head, saying they were calling from Afghanistan. Seriously, that escalated way too fast! Up until then, I was polite and just mentioned that if they were really covid-related, they’d already have my vaccination details. Pretty obvious it was just another scam in disguise.
