Got a call out of the blue about BP shares, with the person claiming I owned some. I told them to mind their own business and just hung up. They tried ringing back straight away, but I let it ring out. A few years back I had a similar call about a takeover offer on the company. I mentioned I’d want a good price for any shares, and the caller got quite snappy. No clue if it’s the same outfit this time, but watch out anyway.
