Today around half eleven, I got a call from an Indian woman about some washing machine insurance. Trouble is, the machine she mentioned isn’t even ours. Plus, her accent was so thick it was really tough to catch what she was saying. You’d think they’d hire someone who actually speaks proper English if they’re going to try these dodgy scams on people...

Some Indian lady called me, her English was really poor. Mentioned something about D & G, which I've never come across before. I used to be a director, so I'm baffled how they got hold of my number. Sounds like a total scam. Watch out for this!

Got a call from an Indian lady named Jenny on 01156920039, said she was ringing from Domestic & General about the warranty on my washing machine. Thing is, I don’t have any appliances signed up with them, so it was obviously a scam. I just told her to do one and hung up.

They rang me, but ended the call after just three rings.

I answered the call and remained silent, but no one on the other side uttered a word. After a few moments of silence, they simply terminated the call. I suspect it was an automated system. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

It was a scam call. They wanted to talk to my husband, but I told them I don’t have one and just hung up.

Somebody rang me saying they were from domestic and general about a washing machine warranty. I never bother with those appliance warranties. I messed around with them for a bit and then just ended the call. If they waste my time, I’ll waste theirs too :)
