Got a call from this number and thought it might be something important, so I rang back. An Indian man answered right away claiming to be from HMRC, which just didn’t feel right - I’ve dealt with HMRC before and they don’t pick up that quick. He started asking for my details, so I ended the call sharpish and blocked the number. Definitely a phishing attempt trying to nab your personal info!

Watch out for a scam where people say they're from HMRC or Revenue and Customs. Don’t answer if they ring you! Also, don’t bother listening to the voicemail or calling them back, because you’ll end up speaking to an Indian guy who’s just trying to scam you. Stay safe!
