Been getting calls from this number like 5 times daily the past three days. They say they're calling from the Telephone Preference Service. I picked up once and just hung up. Total scam! They want your bank info, don’t fall for it - they’ll charge you for some membership renewal. Our local phone provider is trying to block it now. Same days, loads of calls from "international" and "withheld" numbers too, which I never pick up. If you let the call go to voicemail, they always hang up as soon as the machine kicks in.

My elderly mum, who's 90, got bombarded with phone calls six times in just one hour from these scammers wanting her debit card info. When she wouldn't give it, they started whining about how they'd lose their job if she didn't comply. I'm glad she stuck to her guns, but it did upset her quite a bit. These scumbags should be tracked down and put an end to, for sure.

Got calls from these scammers loads of times, claiming to be from the TPS. They quickly jumped into asking for my bank card details. I played along and gave them a fake expiry date just to see what they'd do next. Needless to say, I’ve blocked their number now.

I got a call from a bloke insisting he was from some call blocking company. When the first guy, who had a foreign accent, couldn't get me to spill any info, he handed the phone to another chap, also foreign, claiming he was a supervisor. One weird question he asked was if my sort code had six digits separated by dashes. I said "yeah," since that fits all sort codes. Then he asked for the actual sort code number. I told him if he already had my details, he should know the sort code by now. After that, he just hung up straight away.

Same sort of thing happened to me - a woman with what sounded like an Indian accent called saying she was from TPS, wanted to "upgrade" my service but then asked for my bank card info. I told her this was supposed to be free, and she got really pushy straight away. I quickly pressed the Call Blocker and now I’ll be reporting it to the ICO as well.

Got a call that seemed like one of those typical tech support scams about my computer. I ignored it and let it ring out. Right after, the caller rang me back, sounding quite pushy, wanting to know why I didn’t pick up. I told him quite plainly to leave me alone. So yesterday I got a call from a woman with a strong foreign accent who said she was from the TPS. She wanted to check if I’d been getting any nuisance calls. I told her to stop calling and ended the call. Then today, at 10.04am, the same lady rang me again but this time the call showed as "International Out of Area" with no number displayed. It was definitely her, same voice and the usual nonsense spiel. I’ve reported it to the TPS because they’re having their name misused. These relentless scammers really should be caught and punished.

They stick to their script rigidly and just say they don’t get what you’re asking if you try to question them. This number has popped up on my phone a few times recently. I didn’t pick up before but today I decided to see what it was about, though I had a feeling it might be a scam even though the number looked local. Turns out, it was something about TPS. They already had my info and knew I pay my BT bill by direct debit. When they asked for my debit card details, I realised it was dodgy since my direct debit isn’t linked to my debit card.
