I think I might have given my details in some contest, and now these lot are hounding people trying to con them. It’s the same firm behind all these calls. SHUT DOWN THIS NUMBER IMMEDIATELY. Numerous numbers are being used to contact individuals, including these: 01183389910, 01417298579, 02037477632, 01135214062, and 01914265606. I suspect that my digits were acquired after I entered a competition, which is most likely how they’ve ended up with my information. This is clearly a group of fraudsters making the rounds to con people. IT’S IMPERATIVE TO REPORT THIS TO THE POLICE AND BRITISH TELECOM - they’ll persist with their onslaught using all these various numbers. I think my number got picked up from a contest I joined, and now these scammers are bothering loads of folks. They seem to be run by the same lot, trying to trick people out of their info. Watch out, this is a rip off about loft insulation. The person you get, called Chris or whatever name shows up, isn’t genuine. It’s actually some kind of automated AI robot on the other end. You’re basically chatting with a machine. If you say anything they don't like or is unusual, they just say "ok Bye" and hang up immediately.

Got a call from a place called ‘residential green standard centre’ claiming my insulation might cause damp and mould issues. They said hardly any houses nearby had been checked. I replied quite loudly, “Your what now?” and he just hung up straight away. After hanging around for about 15 minutes, no follow-up call came through. So, I ended up using BT’s call block feature to send any calls from that number straight to junk. The BT number is 1572 if anyone’s interested.
