For the past few days, I've been getting calls from this number pretty much every evening around 10 pm and also in the late afternoon, usually between 4 and 6. Luckily, my phone provider automatically blocks it and marks it as a scam, so at least I don’t have to answer.

Got a call saying it’s from the gov about the Covid vaccine.

This lady had a really thick India/Pakistan accent and I just couldn't get what she was saying. When I told her I didn't understand, she just hung up. There was loads of noise in the background too. Honestly, it feels like one of those call centre scam calls.

Got a call outta nowhere from someone pushing financial stuff, said they were from bnp paribas (bn). They were really pushy about selling some kind of structured certificates. What annoyed me most was they didn’t seem to have a clue about the financial rules like MiFID and MiFID II that regulate selling these kind of things to everyday customers. Completely unprofessional.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he was from the government about the Covid jabs. I said I hadn’t taken it yet (which isn’t true) and out of nowhere he started telling me he loved me. Proper weird!
