I used to pick up calls like this, but not anymore. I’ve seen the amount of these calls drop bit by bit. Maybe their systems track how many times people don’t pick up. I reckon those working in these scam call centres are pushed hard to reach as many folks as possible, and their pay probably depends on it (which might explain why they often get rude or angry if you push back). If no one answers, it just wastes their time and cash. Do yourself a favour and JUST DON’T ANSWER (unless you want to hassle them). Real callers will usually leave a message. Scammers? Not in my experience.

To gain this certificate, she asked for my current postcode, but then mentioned a postcode from an old address where I lived around seven years back! I decided to put her on the spot by asking her if she truly wanted to access my medical records. I informed her that I'd already made the necessary updates through my local GP, implying that the details she was citing should definitely be up to date. It's absolutely vital to remain vigilant these days. One must not place trust easily!

I recently received a rather dubious phone call claiming to be from the Department of Healthcare, stating they needed to verify my Covid vaccination details. When I pressed them on the matter, asking why they were contacting me when my information was already documented in my NHS records, they insisted they required this ‘validation’. To make matters worse, they declared they would persist in calling me daily until I provided my covid details. My curiosity got the better of me, and I queried why the Government would waste resources on something they already possess. The caller, unfazed, reiterated he would ring me every day and demanded my credit card information, postal address, and vaccination status. It's utterly ridiculous... I genuinely wish there were measures in place to hold these individuals accountable for their actions.

I received a rather unpleasant telephone call from a bloke who claimed he wished to discuss an outstanding debt of mine.
