I just got a call from some bloke asking about a covid jab survey. Told him I was tied up with work, and he goes, “then why the hell did you even answer?”. Definitely had a foreign accent, sounded like he really wasn’t into his job.

It’s a dodgy scammer masquerading as an NHS representative, attempting to fish for personal details from unsuspecting folks. Absolutely appalling! The moment I picked up, I could tell he was up to no good from his very first words. He asked for a name and then hit me with a ridiculous question to supposedly 'verify' my identity. I wasted no time in cutting him off and hanging up. What a nerve!

Someone rang me, asked if I knew about my supposed debts. I told them I didn’t owe anything. They kept saying how could I not know about them, and I just kept saying I don’t have any debts. Then they told me to stop lying, called me a ####, and just hung up. Now I’m feeling really upset.

Got a call from some daft woman pretending to be from the NHS Covid Help Desk. She managed to get my name and then started asking if I was fully vaccinated. I said if you’re from the NHS, you’d already know that! Then she asked if I was doing weekly PCR tests. I told her I stopped those when the government said they weren’t needed anymore. In the end, I just told her to be quiet and asked if she was trying to book me in for a booster. Honestly, I was this close to telling her where to go. The noise and chaos from that call centre was madness before I just hung up.

Two comments were added here last night and a few pages earlier showing just how you can report these scam calls to the right officials. It’s quicker to report it that way than just posting here. If we don’t report every dodgy call and message, the fraud cops won’t know how big this problem really is.

This call seemed dodgy to me. They said it was about Covid, asked if I was fully jabbed, if I'd used track and trace, and then wanted to know about my life insurance covering Covid. I asked why they needed that info, and they just kept pressuring me about the insurance. I said yes to get them off, then when they asked which company, I pretended I couldn’t recall. They threw out some company names but I stuck with “can’t remember”. Eventually, they got annoyed and ended the call. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Citizens Advice Centre saying I owed money I never knew about. The number rang me, and I could hear lots of people chatting in the background, like it was some call centre. The caller didn’t say anything, then just hung up. I reckon it’s a company checking if the number is active and if they’ve got the correct info. It’s definitely a dodgy call. When I tried to ring back, it told me I’d dialled a wrong number. I’m gonna block that number for good. Don’t answer calls from numbers you don’t recognise, unless you’re waiting for one. If it’s important, they’ll leave a message. I got caught out once, but not now!

Dodgy number: I was on the phone with the guy and decided to check the number myself. It led me straight to this site, so I started reading out some of the comments to the bloke, haha. He still swore it wasn’t a scam! I told him, mate, I’m literally reading you comments posted just moments ago - can’t really argue with that. By the end, I said, it’s not exactly a brill job, is it? Told him there’s loads of other work out there and he doesn’t need to be doing this. Bit of a switcheroo in the conversation. I’m honestly half expecting him to pack it in now, haha.

Used a fake name myself. Played along with a few of his quizzing for a while and said I'd paid for my vaccine card already, making it pretty clear it was a scam. He wouldn't give his name and just kept saying he was from some fake department when I didn’t share my life insurance details. Made it clear it was total rubbish and he told me to hang up, but then he ended the call first. Proper laugh, honestly would mess about like that again.

The bloke on the phone never bothered to use my name, he just launched straight into his sales pitch. When I told him I don’t share personal info with random calls, he just hung up on me.

Received a call supposedly to update the covid vaccination records, but they wouldn’t specify which database it was about. Definitely feels like a scam.
