I didn’t pick up at first, but then she asked if I was the homeowner. I told her I wasn’t comfortable chatting about it on the phone, and she just hung up. If she was really from Leeds, that’s not exactly local for me since I live in Kent! Also, weirdly, after I put down the receiver my landline had no dial tone for about 20 minutes, so I couldn’t use it during that time.

Complete energy con artists! When I requested they take my name off their list, the response I got was curt and quite impolite - a firm no, straight to the point. It's clear as day that this is a scam; they refused to engage with even the simplest queries. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of these chancers!
