Got a call from someone claiming recent studies showed loft insulation might be harmful to your lungs. They wanted to offer a free check-up to see if my insulation was a problem. I reckon they'd definitely “discover” something wrong and then push for an expensive fix. I haven’t come across any news reports about this supposed risk - surely, if you breathe in any kind of dust long enough, it’s not good for you anyway! Feels like a dodgy scam to me.
