6 yearsI got a voicemail from someone called Officer Laura Hawkins, claiming to be from the Inland Revenue, speaking with a clear foreign accent. She said either me or my lawyer needed to ring back straight away, giving the number twice. The message made it sound urgent and warned about legal trouble if we ignored it. The call came through from Egypt, which seemed pretty dodgy to me. The voicemail was quite intimidating and was left on my answerphone.
