10 yearsReceived a call inquiring about a crash that never took place. It was quite an annoying nuisance, to say the least. I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service too. They abruptly ended the call when I pressed them to confirm if they were aware of my name. Very dodgy!Telephone Preference Service10 yearsPicked up the call, but there was just silence on the other end.10 yearsToday, I received a rather curious phone call on my landline from a chap who introduced himself as Harry. His accent had an Asian twang to it, and he claimed he was reaching out about a supposed accident claim I’d made in the last three years. He insisted he was authorised to sort out this claim through the accident insurance provider I supposedly contacted. When I inquired about the name of this insurance firm, he had the audacity to question why I couldn’t recall it. I simply pointed out that neither I nor anyone in my family has ever had an accident, let alone used an insurance company. He seemed to brush this aside, insisting he only needed a few bits of information to finalize the claim and send me the money I was entitled to. I pressed him once more for the name of the firm, but he conveniently ignored my question again, suddenly sounding a bit pushy, claiming if I didn’t act today, I’d miss out on the money. When I asked how he had obtained my number, he replied it was from the very company I supposedly approached for my claim. Honestly, we could have gone round in circles for ages, but I quickly lost interest and hung up. Clearly, Harry isn’t the brightest bulb in the box!Harry10 yearsI received a call from a dodgy claims company trying to fish for accident-related information. I really put them through the wringer! They've been added to my blacklist of unwanted callers. It's puzzling, though, because they managed to slip through my call blocker. This is the first bothersome call I've had in four years since I installed it! Looks like they’re a fresh face in the nuisance call arena.10 yearsI picked up the call, but there was absolute silence on the other end. I held on for about ten seconds, but still nothing came through. Quite odd, really!Submit Your Own Report (513241006)
