This morning I got called twice by a number starting with 00121, once around 7 am and again just a bit later. The first call was some robotic voice claiming to be from "BT" about an issue with my broadband, and the second one just cut off before I could even pick up. These annoying calls have been happening for weeks from all sorts of different numbers. It’s really frustrating, especially since they keep bugging older folks. They ought to have some respect!

this 00121### keep phoning my home phone over and over again. i never pick up right away, instead i let the answer machine do its job so i can hear what they want. loads of calls about money disappearing from accounts, clearly scams from abroad. honestly, the best thing is to just ignore and keep that answer phone active, eventually they’ll stop bothering you.

I got a voicemail from a number starting with 00121 pretending to be BT, claiming my internet was about to be cut off today. I didn’t listen to the whole message and just hung up straight away. Seeing what you’ve posted here, it looks like I’m definitely not the only one getting these calls - thought I was one of a kind! Honestly, maybe having my broadband switched off wouldn’t be the worst thing, might give me a break from being stuck to my PC all day long.

For the past three years, I've been plagued by these calls. Some days I get bombarded with three or four, other days just a single one, but it's pretty much every day without fail. And when I’m not home, I’m certain they’re still ringing away. I really dont get why there’s no way to block them, stop them for good, or even scare them off with legal threats...
They often stay silent on the line too, usually it’s a woman speaking with an Asian or Indian accent. I’ve grown so used to it now that I usually just hang up straight away, but honestly, it’s really annoying and kinda pathetic, especially when you're trying to relax.

Got a ring from ### ###n8.### earlier today. My missus picked it up and the caller claimed to be from "BT," threatening to cut off our phone and internet unless we settled an overdue bill. Some bloke rang me saying he could sort out my phone bill to make it cheaper... I wasn’t interested at all, plus I’m not the homeowner here so couldn’t really do anything even if I wanted to. Told him that but he just kept pushing. He also kept calling me “love” and kept asking for my mobile so we could keep in touch... proper weird! I just ended the call.
