Sounds like one of those bank-related scams to me.

001852443143 rang me up sayin I had bonds with BT. Said they were callin from New York. Their English was poor and they spoke with a European accent.

Total rip-off, pretending to be from Amazon.

They’re def tracking your phone, be careful.

0016055248620 seems to be calling from South Dakota, probably an Amazon centre. All the people I spoke to had Indian accents but used typical western names. They were really pushy with their calls.

001-315-538-4904 rang but no voicemail was left.

Got a call from 001 3154034652 claiming he was with BT, said my internet was hacked or sumthin. Told me it was all a load of rubbish, total con job!

0015878012150 - got a recorded voice claiming to be from BT, said there was a message for me, press 1 to listen or 2 to save it, just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from 0017439996315 claiming to be from Amazon’s fraud team. They said someone had been placing orders using my name, sent to an address I don’t know. The person kept pushing me to open apps and click on certain things until it asked for a password. I kept asking to close my Amazon account but they said they couldn’t do it without following their “procedure.” I didn’t give any passwords and just hung up. Checked with NatWest and they confirmed there weren’t any recent Amazon charges - it was definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon, saying there was a £1000+ order about to go through. They said press one if it wasn’t me. Not a Prime number, either. The number was 0019202447349. I hung up straight away. I get loads of calls like this on my landline now, so I just end up turning the phone off.

0013183510990 - got another call, looks like an Amazon scam again.

Got a call supposedly from Amazon, saying there were two charges on my bank account that weren’t authorised - one was an international payment over £1,000 and the other was for Amazon. I didn’t stick around to listen any longer, probably would’ve asked me to call some number or give my info. Just block it. Proper dodgy.

001 9054538306: Got a recorded call from someone called ‘David’ with an American tone, saying my Amazon account was locked because of strange activity - something about buying an iPhone for $1499 - and to press 1 for help. The message looped a couple times before a live person with an Asian accent came on, but hung up when I stayed quiet. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked the number and reported it to the ICO.

Got a call from 001 9202447482 saying there’s unusual activity on an account that isn’t mine. Definitely a scam, be careful.

Phone buzzed at 7.24 in the morning. The caller claimed to be from Amazon and told me to hit 1. It was just a recorded voice, no actual human there. How rude to ring me up so early! Would've loved to give them a piece of my mind!

Amazon called me from 001 826 545 9352 about a dodgy order for an old mobile. Definitely a scam!

Got a call from 0015093790535, some woman with an Indian accent, but I couldn't catch where she was ringing from. She started talking about huge amounts being taken from my bank account, way over what I actually have and even more than my little overdraft limit - no bank would let that happen! Something felt off right away when she mentioned the figure, so I just hung up!

Got a call from 0013126833026 saying thanks for renewing my Amazon subscription for £79.99. I don't even have Amazon! Pressed 2 to talk to someone, and they said I had to pay £79.99 every month and could only cancel by filling out some online form, which they couldn’t send by email. I just ended the call.

Got two calls in an hour from numbers starting 001 saying they were from Amazon about Prime. I just hung up straight away, both 001 numbers called me within 15 mins.

Wasn’t home but noticed this number 0019703901155 rang me and it’s clearly some kinda scam.

Got a call from 001 970 390 1630 saying they were from BT and that my internet would be disconnected if I didnt act - asked me to press 1 to sort it out.

Got three calls from different numbers today early morning, two said my Amazon Prime got cancelled but the third one claimed it was renewed and asked me to press a number to confirm. All calls were between 8 and 11am. The numbers were 0013121637685, 0013125010014 and 0013125676476. Really fishy if you ask me!

0017160561371 This bloke had a thick Indian accent, proper hard to catch what he was saying, said he was ringing from Amazon. I don't even shop on Amazon so I told him to jog on and ended the call.

Got a call from a guy with an East London accent (sounds black) from this number 0013475919807. Said he was doing Census 2021 stuff and started asking if I lived in a flat or house and what my address was. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Got a voicemail from 0012077471309 claiming my card was charged £399 for some Amazon purchases. I looked on Amazon and couldn't find any such order, so it's clearly a scam.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be Erica Smith, sounded Asian, saying she was calling from New York about some shares. Totally sounded like a scam. I get like 3 calls daily from people pretending to be from British Telecom, Amazon and all sorts.

Got two calls from 00131275 527887 and 00131271978301 claiming my Amazon Prime renewed - they said press 1 to cancel or 2 for more options. Sounded dodgy to me.

A really noisy Asian guy kept yelling at me and kept saying that someone unknown had charged me £79 on Amazon using my phone number. He wanted me to fill out an online form to cancel and get a refund, but I said no and he just ended the call.

Got a call from 001260946472 earlier today, was the usual Amazon Prime nonsense. As soon as I caught that name, I just hung up. I keep getting these calls all the time, it’s proper annoying.

001391201160 keeps ringing me nearly every day. They say they’re from Sky, but the number changes all the time. When I asked the person to say their name again, they just cut the call straight away. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from 001 207 6023664 claiming to be from some national security office, saying they needed to check my internet and router because of a security problem. I asked who they were exactly and who they represented, and the call was suddenly cut off. Seems like they were fishing for my personal details.

Got a recorded call saying it was Amazon and that my Prime membership was renewed for £79.99. Thing is, Amazon doesn’t even have my home phone number.

Got a call from 001 9202684403 saying they were from Amazon Prime, threatening to close the account cos payment wasn’t made. This happened to my mum, who’s a pensioner, twice in just a few hours. Thankfully I was there to tell her it’s a scam. She only has Freeview TV anyway, no subscriptions.
