Received a telephone call regarding some "unusual activity," although upon inspection, all of the transactions appear to be regular and genuinely mine.

I recently received two missed calls and a voicemail from someone claiming to be from PC Mastercard, informing me of suspicious activity on my card. They instructed me to call them back using the provided number or the number on the back of my card. To verify the legitimacy of the situation, I decided to contact PC Mastercard directly using the phone number found on the back of my card. The representative confirmed that my account was in good standing with no issues. I informed them about the two calls I had received and shared the phone number - 877 939 3933 - from which they had called me. After putting me on hold for a few minutes, the representative informed me that this particular number was not associated with PC Mastercard. They reassured me that it was a wise decision not to answer the call and advised me to always call back using the number located on the back of my credit card.

I was informed via a message that I have a check worth several million pounds being held in an escrow account for me.

I received a legitimate call today, informing me to contact this number or the one at the back of my card. I dialed the number indicated on my card and provided only my name and answers to a few security questions. They then verified my credit card number. They assured me that the call was from their security department and transferred me to the appropriate department. Apparently, they noticed a suspicious transaction and are taking precautions by sending me a new card.

After navigating through a few menu options, I contacted the customer service number listed on the website. The representative I spoke to confirmed that the telephone number belonged to the fraud department and that there was an active alert associated with it. Please be aware that it may take some time to reach this department.

Bogus contact details discovered! I contacted the PC Optimum main office only to find out that they have identified that number as suspicious. I strongly advise against contacting that number under any circumstances and refraining from providing any personal information. This notification was made on the 6th of July, 2020.

The phone number is genuine and operates with an automated system. Upon dialing the number provided on the rear side of my credit card, I was connected to a representative who was aware of the reason for my call, which was to inquire about a suspicious transaction. They informed me that the transaction had been flagged but further investigation revealed that it was a valid purchase. To prevent additional calls of this nature, the representative advised me to answer the phone and remain on the line for a few seconds before hanging up.

It seems that the number is genuine. After calling back, we verified everything accurately.

I received a call at my workplace from this number. A lady informed me that there was a transaction made for the purchase of a BMX bike from North Vancouver earlier this morning. After verifying my card number, she explained that they would be closing my account and sending a new card to my address. It is reassuring to know that PC Financial is keeping an eye out for any fraudulent activity.

I recently received two messages from a number, which referred to me using a completely different name unrelated to mine. I made a call back to address this issue and politely requested them to refrain from calling, as it was my personal phone and not the phone of the individual they were trying to reach. Surprisingly, they asked for my PC Financial card number. However, I refused to provide it to them because my card was not dealing with any issues at that time. They claimed that they wanted to check for any problems related to my account, but I emphasized that my main objective in calling was solely to instruct them not to contact my number anymore. After expressing my gratitude, I promptly ended the conversation by disconnecting the call.

If you receive a call from this number, it is a legitimate number for the fraud department of PC Financial Master Card. I recently called another number and inquired about their fraud department, and they confirmed that it is indeed a valid number. When you go on a road trip and use your card without informing them, sometimes one of your transactions or the location in which you use it may trigger an alert, indicating unusual behavior. In such cases, they will give you a call. If you are unsure, dial a different number than the one they called from or asked you to call. If it is indeed legitimate, they will confirm and still be able to assist you on the number you dialed.

I received a call from PC Financial on the number 18779393933, claiming that they were investigating fraud. They proceeded to question me about why I had called them. They requested my account information, to which I responded by reminding them that since they had initiated the call, they should already have access to my account details. Unsatisfied with their response, I asked to speak with their supervisor. However, even after being transferred to this so-called "supervisor," they once again asked for my account information. I reiterated my previous point that they should already possess this information as their organization initiated the call. Frustrated, I expressed my desire to speak with their supervisor higher up in the hierarchy, only to be informed that their superiors would not be available until tomorrow.

I always avoid answering calls from unknown numbers.

I recently received a call regarding an issue with my Mastercard, but I am not certain about its authenticity at this point.
