Lately, I keep getting these calls pretty much every day. When I’ve picked up a couple of times, there’s been nothing but silence on the other end, so I guess it’s some kind of robot. Yesterday I ignored the call, but they rang again immediately. I ended up popping into my bank to see if they could stop the calls. I’ve also put the number in my phone and assigned it a silent ringtone, so hopefully I won’t hear it ringing when they next ring me.

Funny thing is, they have no clue who they ended up ringing... Haha, gonna be interesting for sure! It's sort of like offering a lift to a serial killer on the road ;)

Since October 19th, 2013, this number has been ringing me constantly. They even managed to get my mobile digits and started blowing my phone up, so I blocked them. But that didn't stop their harassment - they keep ringing my landline non-stop, sometimes up to ten calls a day, every single day of the week, all day and night! The only break was on Christmas and Boxing Day, but now they’re at it again. I’m seriously thinking of picking up next time just to threaten I’ll be reporting them to the police!

Someone called claiming to be from RBC, saying they could help me earn some cash. When I asked them to stop calling me, they agreed but then they went on to tell me exactly how much was in my tax-free savings account. After that, I’m seriously thinking about shutting my account and switching to a different bank.

The caller ID shows RBC, so I contacted RBC directly, and they said it’s not one of their numbers. Whenever I try calling back, it just cuts off right after one ring and then I get some automated message about the number being unreachable or whatever. I’ve blocked it now, but if by some miracle they get through again, they’ll be getting a few choice words from me. I do night shifts, so the last thing I need is annoying calls every single hour on the dot.

I got a call from a woman using this number, telling me I supposedly have a 4-year loan with RBC, but that duration wasn't accurate. She then started asking me some questions about my other banks - like what bank and what type of accounts I hold. I politely told her to call back another time. Funny enough, she realised I was speaking French right at the start of our conversation.
