Yeah, recently I've been receiving these calls every day as well. Whenever I've picked up, no one responds, so it seems to be all automated. Yesterday, I decided not to answer and they immediately rang again. As a result, I went to the bank and requested to be removed from their calling list. Additionally, I saved their number in my phone and set it to use a silent ringtone, meaning I won't even hear my phone ring the next time they call.

It's rather amusing how clueless you are about the person you just dialed... Well, this could turn out to be quite enjoyable! It's similar to unknowingly giving a lift to a hitchhiker who happens to be a killer. ;)

Since October 19th, 2013, this particular number has been consistently making calls. They somehow managed to obtain my mobile number and started contacting me through it. I took action by blocking them, assuming that would put an end to their incessant calls. I am reaching a breaking point and feel inclined to answer their next call solely with the intention of informing them that I will be reporting their activities to the local police.

A representative claiming to be from RBC contacted me, offering assistance to make some money. However, upon requesting to be removed from their phone list, they assured me before revealing the exact balance in my tax-free savings account. This has left me contemplating the idea of closing my account and shifting to another bank, as this incident has shaken my trust.

I have now blocked this number on my phone, although if by some extraordinary event they manage to get through, the individual on the other end can certainly expect to hear some strong expletives from me. As I work during the graveyard shift, I absolutely do not need these fraudulent calls disrupting my routine every single hour of the day.

In response, I politely requested her to call me back at a later time. Interestingly, she seemed aware that I was speaking in French at the beginning of the call.
