I received a call from him on Friday at 4:30, so I decided to call him back. He provided me with his employee number and a case file number. However, he became annoyed with me when I started asking questions. Whenever I asked for proof, he would dismissively say "never mind." He even threatened to contact the RCMP and have me picked up by the Canada Revenue Department. Realizing it was a scam, I requested that he hold on while I contacted the police to verify his information again. It's incredibly frustrating, and if he calls again, I will definitely report it to the police. I've been trying to reach the Canada Revenue Department over the phone but it's always busy.

Please ignore their voicemail as it is a fraudulent attempt. I contacted the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) and was informed that this scam has unfortunately affected the entire country of Canada.

I've been experiencing the same issue. I believe I've received calls from the Agency Revenue Canada about two or three times in the past week. It has truly been quite irritating to receive them repeatedly.

We also received a phone call on our answering machine, but luckily we were not at home to pick up. Afterward, I contacted the RCMP. They advised me to disregard the call. I received a voicemail from someone claiming to be from the Canada income taxes department. I didn't answer the call and they left a message on my answering machine. Over the past 5 years, I have been receiving various calls, most commonly from my neighbours using different phone numbers. Instead of engaging in meaningful conversations, they try to intimidate me. It's worth noting that they don't have regular jobs but instead spend their time cultivating marijuana on various lands. They have been residing in St-Jude, QC for sixteen years and their names are Stephane Chabot and Sonya Bélanger.

Yet again, it's another fraudulent scheme where individuals portray themselves as agents from Revenue Canada. I refrain from engaging in prolonged conversations with these scammers as it only heightens my frustration. Instead, I promptly reprimand them. Persistently, I take the initiative to call them repeatedly and express my strong disapproval, insisting that they should feel ashamed for their actions. Their responses become impolite and offensive, but regardless, I persist in continue dialing their number until they eventually switch on their automated answering machine. It's quite amusing indeed!
