The call isn’t from Public Mobile, it’s coming outta the US, not Canada. Public Mobile’s actual number is *611. Just recently I got a text from Public Mobile saying they wouldn’t ask for your credit card info. Watch out and don’t get tricked!

Hello, A few days back I noticed two missed calls from this number. On the 6th of November around 11 in the morning, I finally answered when it rang. It was a man who asked me my name, saying it out loud as if checking it. I confirmed it was me, and then he just cut the call straight away. This number shows up as being from the United States and it’s making me quite nervous. I wonder if this might be some kind of scam related to credit cards or identity theft - like they already have some of my info and just needed to double-check it before trying to use it.
