When I called Latoya at Windstream, she told me Windstream never makes cold calls, especially not about free upgrades. So, even though my phone showed "Windstream", this isn't legit. They gave me a callback number: 1-844-504-6265. I rang them back to let them know I’d reported the scam to Windstream. Latoya mentioned she’d pass the details up to their corporate team. Honestly, I’d advise everyone to contact Windstream themselves and report any suspicious calls.
