I've been having a right palaver with this number that's interfering with my sister's contacts. It's been firing off picture messages to me, and when I switched on my data to receive what I thought was from her, the images just vanish into thin air! I had to ask her whether she'd sent anything and, surprise surprise, she hadn’t. To top it all off, last week, her son's phone flashed up with 'Mum' for four missed calls from this same number. He rang her actual number to query it, but she never reached out to him. Quite the mystery, I must say!

It's got to be some kind of automated service, as they ring in every morning punctually at 8:09 and continue throughout the day. Before I know it, my voicemail is completely stuffed! If only I’d stumbled across this sooner! I actually reached out to the number directly to tell them to cease their messages. It’s been quite the nuisance, especially since I keep receiving texts addressed to the former owner of my number. The latest one reads: “There is an imprtant message awaiting (NAME IN UPPER CASE) call 18448508881 and quote 1140887030 for details.” Quite absurd how they can’t even get the spelling right! Anyway, I’ve blocked the number now, so fingers crossed this will put an end to the relentless barrage of texts.
