The start of the message was missed, but I gathered it said something along the lines of, "Don't ignore this notification to get back in touch." He then went on to say that we should either ring back ourselves or have our solicitor do so. He added, "If you choose not to respond, all I can do is wish you the best as things develop." He finished with a rather disingenuous "Have a lovely day." Oh, please! Let's be real. The whole thing felt a bit scripted, as if it was a recording played with a slight accent.

Received a ring at my home today, delivering the same spiel. The caller, who had an Indian twang, identified himself as Brian Jones. Thankfully, my caller ID saved me from the hassle!

Absolutely, it seems to be the same bloke who keeps pestering our landline. He’s got a rather distinct accent and his voice is rather menacing, I must say. The phrases he uses are alarmingly repetitive, almost as if he’s reading from a script. You can definitely pick up on a lot of chatter in the background, suggesting he’s not alone when making these calls. We’ve even got him saved on our answerphone for reference!
