It's the same old nonsense regarding the Canada Revenue lawsuit. Honestly, you'd have to be remarkably gullible to buy into such an evident con. Who on earth would believe that?

Clearly a dodgy attempt at scamming. I received a recorded message claiming to be from the Canadian tax authority.

I've been getting calls from this number for quite a few weeks now. When I attempted to ring them back, the line would just drop. Earlier today, someone finally picked up, claiming to be with the revenue office and going on about some issues regarding supposed tax fraud. When I probed a bit more, they abruptly hung up. I tried once more and barely managed to hear the person on the other end, who insisted it was a mistake on their part and assured me that I wouldn’t get any further calls. We shall see about that, won’t we?

I've received a handful of calls from this number, and we always end up cutting the line before the chap completes his menacing spiel. Initially, it was a woman that rang me a couple of times. I've been receiving frequent calls from someone claiming to be with the revenue agency. They insist on calling me back, which raises my suspicions.
