I got a call from this number and something felt off right away. Had a quick search online, found this site and yep, just as I thought - a total scam.

Over the last few days, my voicemail has been getting a bunch of messages telling me my apple id’s been compromised. They say I shouldn’t use any of my apple gadgets and to ring the number they give. The lady speaking sounds really clear and polite, but it’s clearly just a scam.

I picked up the phone and told them my account was compromised, then they told me to ring 1-844-3883-4621. When I dialled that, a voicemail kept playing, saying "Thank you for calling Apple, your wait time is 1 minute and 30 seconds." I stayed on hold for around half a minute but that message just kept going. It all seemed quite dodgy to me.

In just a few hours, I got two voicemails from this number. Both times, they said there was some kind of urgent issue with my Apple gadgets.

In just a few hours, we got 4 calls warning us not to do any banking stuff on Apple gadgets. The phone never got answered, so all the alerts ended up on our voicemail from a lady speaking English. Right away, I knew it was some kind of scam.
